Bongo artist Otile Brown has warned Kenyans not to fall for the trap of facebook accounts impersonting him.
The artist shared this alert after he announced his comeback on Facebook years after being absent on the social media account.
According to him, what pushed him to open a new account is the fact that people have complained about being conned.
The ‘Dusuma’ hitmaker explained that he was once active on Facebook before his fan page which had garnered over 200K followers was stolen.
“Haven’t been on my Facebook… My Facebook fan page was stolen with over 200k followers 2years ago the person that took it changed everything and made it untraceable… for my day one fans incase you still follow that page.. plz let me know so we can try to report it and get it back” he wrote
Otile further warned his fans to be smart and not
“OB does not as for money from his fans& you don’t need to pay anything to be signed under or label… be smart if its not from this account then don’t trust it” he added
