Businessman Chris Kirubi and ODM leader Raila Odinga on Wednesday, October 14, joined in the viral ‘Jerusalema’ dance challenge at the Two Rivers Mall.
In a video shared by both Kirubi and Raila, a few choreographers were seen leading the two in doing Jerusalema dance moves as the duo tried to mimic, though it was evident they were out of sync.
Raila had gone to make his contribution as Chris Kirubi in partnership with Centum group signed a mega-deal that with Gor Mahia. The deal would benefit the team with a modern world-class training ground.
“Nani kama Baba…At the Gor Mahia event this afternoon I let loose and shook a leg with the team,” wrote Raila.
The partnership between the two is expected to help prepare the team for the next season of the FKF Premier League, which is set to begin in mid November.
“I commend Two Rivers for partnering with Gor Mahia and offering them the mall’s Sports District for use as their training ground this season. I urge more corporate entities to support local sports teams especially community clubs,” Odinga stated.
The dance, which has since gone viral, is influenced by Master KG’s hit track ‘Jerusalema’ featuring Nomcebo Zikode.
