‘Sawa’ hit maker Tanasha Donna has finally reacted to claims that Wasafi artist Zuchu stole part of her lyrics in her collabo with Diamond.
In the recently released dubbed ‘Cheche’ Zuchu intro for the song caught the attention of many who believe that it is a copied version from Tanasha’s collabo with Khaligraph Jones ‘Ride’.
In ‘Ride’ which was a song off Tanasha’s EP, the Kenyan artist is heard singing in Spanish Yo te quero tante, and fans are now accusing Zuchu of duplicating Tanasha’s style.
In response to these allegations, Tanasha recorded herself singing along to the segment of her song revealing that it might be time to release the visuals of the same.
In what has been interpreted as a ‘cold war’ between Tanasha and Zuchu following the recent claims, Donna’s management also issued savage remarks.
In a post by Jamal he praised Tanasha for originality as he bashed the copy pasted version.
“Siku zote kitu ORIGINAL kina stand out kuliko COPY. Yo te quero tante, for your love Asante @khaligraph_jones” wrote Jamal in his post
This tension between the two artists comes amid rumours that Diamond and Zuchu have an affair; claims that they have both refuted.
This is however not the first time the Wasafi artists have been blasted for lacking creativity. Diamond has been severally accused of the same after the release of his songs, Jeje, Tetema and even in his collabo with Tanasha.
