Kenyan rapper Kennedy Ombima, better known as King Kaka, is in mourning following the untimely passing of a man who played a big role in making him a household name.
Taking to social media on Wednesday, the Wajinga Nyinyi hitmaker revealed that he woke up to the sad news that Sniper SP – a well-known producer in entertainment circles – had given up the ghost.
King Kaka went on to explain that he worked with Sniper on several occasions when he was beginning his music career. Some of the notable songs that he has produced for him are Bangaiza and Kaza Moyo.
Other artists that he worked with previously include; Eko Dydda, Khaligraph Jones, Kayvo KForce and several upcoming musicians in Rongai and Kitengela.
While the cause of his death was not immediately clear, word doing rounds is that he had been unwell for sometime.
Sniper’s friends an colleagues hailed him as a hardworking man who was really determined to help people succeed. He will be missed by many, may his soul rest in peace.
