Talented rapper Brian Ouko Omollo, popularly known as Khaligraph Jones, has waded into the beef between Kevin Bahati and his protege Peter Blessing.
During an interview with a local tabloid, the Juu Ya Ngori hitmaker asked the two musicians to sit down and talk, adding that it was not right to involve the police in their personal disputes.
“Bahati should have a conversation with that man. Why is he dragging the police into this? He should stop playing around.
“Although I don’t know the background story, I have been arrested before so I know how cruel the police can be. He is taking this man to court yet he is so broke. Why is he bothering him?” Khaligraph remarked.
Blessing, whose real name is Peter Mwanyalo, is facing charges of obtaining Ksh 2,039,000 from the EMB Records founder using false pretense.
The upcoming artist stands accused of pretending that he was in a position to produce music videos for the stable yet he failed to deliver.
According to court papers, the offence took place between July 4, 2019 and January 5, 2020. However, Blessing denied the charges when he appeared in court and was released on a cash bail of Ksh 200,000.
