Kenyans and Jeff Koinange fans to be precise are a happy lot following the announcement that Jeff Koinange Live (JKL),hosted by Jeff Koinange himself and which has been off air for a record three months or so will soon be returning to their screens.Jeff Koinange and his show were rendered ‘homeless’ when KTN decided to cut ties with Jeff Koinange after he let things get out of hand when he hosted Nairobi gubernatorial aspirants Miguna Miguna and Esther Passaris.
In a short clip from the show that was shared widely on all social media platforms, the Miguna and Passaris were heard hurling insults at one another. This triggered outrage among the public as he was unable to control his guests’ utterances.
Well, after a short hiatus from TV ,the revered journalist will be making his way back to your screens if his new employer’s words are anything to go by.Yesterday, Citizen TV posted a video that seemed to suggest that Jeff Koinange will soon be joining the Dennis Pritt Road-based media house. The 9-second clip shows a bench, a fire extinguisher – which is normally used by Jeff when the debate gets heated and the words “coming soon” formed by what looks like smoke.
There have been speculations about his return on television but the debate is now closed since its official he has found a new home.
