The entertainment fraternity is mourning the loss of one of their own after the sad news of Big Kev’s death broke.
Kevin Ombajo the CEO of Trublaq and former Capital FM employee had been battling cancer which left him in and out of hospitals since diagnosis in 2006. At some point he even lost his sight due to surgery.
His fellow celebrities and Kenyan folk, have journeyed with Big Kev with the highest point of their support being the black tie dinner held in February at the Carnivore. With a ticket going for Sh10,000 per person, the well-attended fund raiser managed to raise Sh7.2 million towards his medical bills.
Well as fate would have it, Big Kev died on Saturday, at Nairobi Hospital.
Celebrities including Kenya’s most senior politician, Uhuru Kenyatta a close friend to Big Kev have penned their personal condolence message to the event organizer’s family. Take a look at the heartfelt messages;
