PHOTOS: Safaricom CEO Changes Careers to a Matatu Tout For a Day

SAfaricom has been in a giving mood of late, it’s the festive season and they decided to reward all their subscribers. Yesterday they gave out free data, and although I didn’t receive mine I know a few guys who did. Safaricom always know how to stay ahead of their competitiors and this time they made sure they attracted everyone.

Safaricom CEO Bob Collymore and his team today headed out to various towns to the surprise of many Kenyans and offered to pay bus fares for hundreds of travellers. Bob was spotted on a Double M calling out for passengers, guys travelling as far as Kisii, Nakuru and even Kisumu and other destinations were also among the lucky ones to have their fare paid.

The promotion is part of their Christmass campaign dubbed Home is Where The Heart Is.
