Sunday evening saw NTV air an interview that allegedly had Joe Irungu’s parents talking about their incarcerated son and his life as they knew it before Monica Kimani’s gruesome murder came to the fore.

That didn’t deter the office of the director of public prosecution from conferring charges of murder on both characters who worked side by side after the crime was committed.

According to the DPP, from the evidence he has seen, it’s enough to have them charged inba court of law and directed his team to act accordingly.
