With beefs being always in season, diss tracks are always around the corner. Diss tracks are often considered either career-ending or harmless.
36 year-old American female rapper, Remy Ma begun rap-battle of the year when she dropped savage diss track, “shETHER” targeting Nicki Minaj. On “ShETHER” Remmy viciously takes down Nicki for 7 minutes non-stop with scathing insults and jaw-dropping claims while boldly naming names and directing shots.
What’s a rap feud without a response? Nicki Minaj’s anticipated response is finally here! It seems the Pink Print rapper was quietly plotting her come back. Enlisting Lil Wayne and Drake, the Young Money members take on posers in “No Frauds.” The rapper also released “Changed It” with Lil Wayne, which also takes swipes at Remy Ma, and a third track called “Regret in Your Tears.”
Nicki went ahead to threaten Remy on Instagram, she wrote;
#IGotB4andafterPicturesOfYourSurgery #StopSurgeryShamingB4IPostThem #Fraud diss records can’t be lies. Great diss records are FACTS. But here @ Young Money, we don’t do diss records, we drop HIT RECORDS & diss u ON them.
I know many of you are wondering why Nicki’s reply to the diss track took so long, well according to Nicki ‘Queens don’t move on peasant time.’
The greats took 3 months to respond to diss records. Queens don’t move on peasant time. Queens shut down Paris, then drop hits on #QueenTime.
