Niaje.com’s David Mugo recently had the opportunity to catch up with one of the leading ‘social entrepreneurs’ of our time, in the region, Zawadi Nyong’o, in an interview that was meant to shed light on what this young and inspiring ‘Afropolitan’ woman is doing for the society.

Zawadi, through her enterprise Zero by Zawadi, is exploring new and exciting ways of building a business empire while giving back to the community. Her personal mantra seems to be that ‘everything is possible at Zero’ and thus the title of her enterprise. She talks about the work that Zero By Zawadi does in empowering the individual as well as highlighting the social empowerment she seeks to bring forth in our reserved society.
