Mohammed Ali has for the longest time brought us investigative reports and exposed many rouge individuals in the society. Ali who has bee working for the Standard group announced that he quit his position at the firm for politics.
Revealing his next step on a Facebook post Ali wrote “My conscience also doesn’t allow me to give up on Kenya. I cannot and will not. I want to keep on fighting, for this country that I love so dearly. That is why I resigned from my post at KTN on Valentine’s Day, to recommit my love for Kenya, and stand as a parliamentary candidate for the Nyali constituency seat in this year’s general election. ask you now to join me and reclaim this country’s conscience. We can do it. We may be told different by the cartels that run our government, but Kenya is a country of free men and women who know what is right and what is wrong.”
His resignation from the media company comes when campaigns are on a high ahead of the August general elections.
