Flamboyant city lawyer Donald Kipkorir recently took a swipe at Dennis Okari’s new TV bae Olive Burrows.
Taking to Twitter over the weekend, the self-styled advocate wondered TV stations demand skin colouration as part of the requirement before they employ someone.
Donald used Olive as an example saying she was at Capital FM before joining NTV and went ahead to question why women with a dark skin tone don’t have access to such chances.
“Why do we sacrifice black beauty at the vanity altar of white skin,” he wrote in part.
A quick look at the local television stations and you will realize that this is actually true with the exception of KTN.
The situation is so bad that dark-skinned women prefer to pursue different careers because of the limited opportunities for them, if any, in journalism.
