Kasarani Stadium Is The Place To Be. Here’s Why


The IAAF World Under 18 Championship,┬áStarted this week, from the 12th – 16th of July. All roads lead to Kasarani Sports Stadium for the 23rd Edition for the #wu18village.

Yesterday being the first day, some of the world’s top teenage athletes produced a superb evening session on Wednesday (12) to keep the small crowd on its feet at Kasarani Stadium, closing out the opening day of the IAAF World U18 Championships Nairobi 2017 in fine style.

Well, the games are only getting better and if you have been looking for a weekend plot, this is for sure your ultimate plan.

Hit up your squad, stock up on food and drinks then head to the Kasarani stadium – Thika road. The event is absolutely free, no charges.

And apart from sports, it’s a five day major concerts. With over fifty top artistes performances. The likes of Khaligraph Jones, Nameless, Wahu, Avril, Bahati, Sanaipei Tande, Gravitti Band… among others.

Also, there’s live music from Kenyan top artists Dj to get you through the day.

With this being a special occasions being graced by various nationals. This is an opportunity for you to get to interact with people from different countries all over the world. Who knows, you might end up making best friends or learn something new.
