Controversy sure loves to follow County Chief Ali Hassan Joho, however this time he may have not courted the trouble.
In what one may call a successful drug raid, anti-narcotic detectives arrested seven wanted drug barons and seized heroin worth millions in Mombasa.
Among the seven impounded vehicles in the saga is a campaign car branded Joho. Regional police boss Larry Kieng, speaking to the Star revealed that the Joho-branded car was found in the yard of an apartment owned by one the suspects.
According to reports the Joho-branded car doesn’t belong to Joho nor his family, many believe it belongs to one of Joho’s many die-hard supporters.
Hassan Joho’s campaign manager John Tumbo, has since come out to firmly dissociate the county chief from the drug drama saying that the car doesn’t belong to them.
