Yesterday ended on a great note for many Kenyans as the US government announced that it had granted Jomo Kenyatta International Airport a category one status. In simple language this means that flight from Kenya will now be flying to the States non stop.
Flights that would take between 18 to 24 hours with various stops will now be reduced to 10 hours only between the two countries. It’s expected that this move will help improve the tourism sector of Kenya.
Kenya airways might be the first airline implementing this move after Delta airlines was denied this privilege a few years ago due to security reasons.
