The largest private airline in Indonesia, Lion Air is under distress after one of it’s flights, flight JT 610 crashed into the sea near Jakarta this Monday morning, 29th October 2018. Investigators are looking into possible reasons why the Boeing 737 Max might have crashed.
The Boeing 737 Max was carrying 181 passengers and 8 crew members. It was on a short flight from Jakarta to Pangkal Pinang and disappeared off the radar shortly after take off. It later crashed into the sea.
Rescue operations are underway and more information will follow.
