President Kenyatta is known to be keen on sports from back in the day when he played rugby at St. Mary’s School. This has seen him play host to various sporting personalities at State House with Kenya’s rugby teams leading the pack.
The President took it further when he got in the pitch himself after Kisii Governor James Ongwae challenged him to a penalty shoot out.
Uhuru took on the challenge and didn’t disappoint. The crowd was exhilarated when he stepped on the pitch to send the ball hurtling towards the governor who fumbled and ended up conceding.
