K’ogalo has been the team to beat for the third season in a row. This season is about to end with the team still being unbeaten . Gor Mahia captain Jerim Onyango says the success behind the team this season is down to hard work and obedience by the players.
The team has arguably been formidable this season, currently unbeaten in the league and on the verge of winning GOtv Shield and KPL Top 8 and also reached Cecafa finals where they went down to Tanzania’s Azam.
“This season’s success is not a coincidence, or through luck, but it is down to hard work by every player in the unit. The technical bench has also worked hard to ensure we get something and as players we followed instructions given by coaches and that contributed much to our season. We are so happy with ourselves and the technical bench plus the management,”
“Our match against Muhoroni, well, everybody is looking at it and we hope to maintain our run, and ensure we do not fall when needed. We will definitely give our best, no room for mistakes and ensure we get something from the match.”
