In a meeting held at the KFCB offices, James Muigai famously known as DJ Afro got schooled on matters morality following the indiscriminate ban on all his “productions”

KFCB chairman took to Facebook to share details regarding the ban and the meeting saying

Today KFCB management met with the
controversial James Muigai aka DJ Afro, his promoter and manager following our banning of his unpalatable content aired on Gikuyu TV and also distributed by unscrupulous business people and exhibited in public places without approval by the Board.

The Kimonda Hitmaker apparently admitted to being the creator of said content but declined responsibility for its distribution saying those are his works from long time ago reproduced without his knowledge.

DJ Afro admitted the illegality of his actions and took responsibility for the same, while pointing out that the content being distributed and exhibited across the country is illegal reproduction of his works done many years ago. It was agreed that the Board will communicate its position to the Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government to have the culprits arrested and the illegal material destroyed, and that Gikuyu TV will suspend forthwith the airing of unrated material.

It was agreed that moving forward All content generated by DJ Afro will be submitted for examination and classification for age suitability.
