14 Year Old Boy That Walked From Siaya to Kakamega to Raise Form One Fees Gets Help

Schools closed, class eight and form four kids did their exams. A few who did KCPE and  managed good grades got chances to join High School. Unfortunately for Some not so lucky pupils who scored great marks and who come from poor backgrounds joining High school might be just a dream that might take a while to come true.

A young 14 year old boy Joshua Otieno walked for 6 nights from Kisumu to Kakamega a distance of 104 KMs in an effort to raise money for his fees. Joshua sat for the KCPE last ear and scored 386 out of 500 marks and got selected to join ST. ANTHONY HIGH SCHOOL- KITALE. Unfortunately for him his parents could not afford to continue education him so he did what he tough was best to raise money.

His story which was on the Standard newspaper touched the hearts of Kenyans. God answered Joshua’s prayers to join school through a certain woman from the UK who said she would sponsor his whole High school education plus all expenses required for his education.

Joshua will now be joining high school any time now thanks to the lady. Doesn’t God work in amazing ways?
